What motivates me to play chess online

Well motivates me to play chess online is the same reason that motivates me to play chess offline; to observe myself in a battharmless battle of the wits. As a martial artist I only spar for one reason which is to observe myself in combat and learn more about myself. The same reason motivates me in relation to chess.

I dont play to win, I dont play to prove I'm better then anyone else; I play to learn more about myself, to keep my mind sharp and finally to do my best as to allow my fellow opponent to achieve to results I'm looking for.
