chess team

i am looking at starting a chess team but i have to have over 50 wins. i have 40 so is there a way that i could start a intermediete team? and also what does a chess team exactly do?

A chess team plays matches against other teams. These matches do not necessarily involve all the players on either team. And no... actually, the 50 win rule is lenient, I think. For not-paying members like us to be able to have teams... Note that I have 47 wins and am trying to reach 50 also.

No you can't start an intermediate team. A chess team lets you challenge others teams on chesshere. Your team will get a rating [like the one you have now]. It will start out at 1200. To play team games, you will need 2 people on your team including yourself. But why not join the Rambunctious Rooks? You only have to win 5 games, and your rating only needs to be 1000. I would appreciate it if you can join my team. [The Rambunctious Rooks]
