What is chess to me?

For me, chess is everything, it is my ultimate goal, it is the battle of wits, of mind and will. It is who gives up first, it is who plans everyhing out, it is a battle.

I started playing chess since I was 7, and got hooked, now Im 15 and still playing, my grandpa brought me into this game, and now I strive to be the best, I made a lot of friends playing chess.
At school at our chess club or just with some friends at home. I enjoy chess as a sport and as a social game, as a competition, or just for fun. Chess can be played young and old and thats the neat thing about it.

I dont know why, but for chess is simply the best game out there, it is outhinking your opponent, it is proving yourself stronger, it is trying to come up to the top. Chess can be described in thousands of words, but for me there is one word... and thats enjoyment.
