Leaving the game
Leaving the game by unplugging your internet connection or something is the most unsportsman a player had done, its like running scared for fear of losing, surely the winning position will not likely run from the game, it is the losing player. Why what is your points here, you cannot profit from it, you cannot present it to any chess bodies like FIDE that this is your elo rating. I am sure this will not be recognized, play the way you should play no matter win or lose, just finish the game i am sure you will learn from your string of defeats.

I agree, there is nothing more irritating than when your connection goes down however, which just happened to me at a crucial point. Bloody NTL!!!

This is true, be a gentleman, resigned the game if you are losing. Even great players lose, why can't you. All chess great starts from neophyte, loses many games before they become chess masters. Lose game first before you become GM, who dont want to become GM? If you hate to lose, apply to GM, General Motors!!!

Oh yeah, very unsportsman if any playey should do it. I learned from my mistakes, i remember all loses, and hope that i will not repeat until i remember and as long that i play chess. be honorable in winning or losing. Its part of the road leading to become master of this game.
