What is the motivating factor here? Is it simply to increase the ELO to a level that is not reflective of the actual talent level?-

The strange thing is that all those tournaments were with the same persons

well they could be friends

Hahaha-So how would CODD get the same people to join the same tournaments??? And how would CODD have known he would've won? Are you suggesting he is playing as all those people? That is what I think you are thinking...-

stop thinking what Im thinking,n,maye not, cause the other players have a low rating-

I was talking to Pierre, but how would he make them ALL join EVERY one? Plus there was a chance of them still winning....-

Check out his "Beat an Expert" series...some of those games are quite fishy as well...a lot of resignations after 2 or 3 moves.-

Could have had multiple accounts. I think admin could easily check for that.-

Multiple accounts (same IP) can't play each other here, if I understand correctly info given earlier by Khaled (?).-

I'm not an expert on this, but maybe he's using a proxy server. That could change his IP-address everytime he connects to the internet.

Maybe it's better to have a warning system instead of blocking the same IP-addresses. A warning system detects suspicious accounts. The parameters can be set so that an x number of games played against the same opponents have finished within 10 moves. I know that another chesssite uses such warning system, so I think it's possible to program such a feature.

Good idea. Have the warning and blocking system. It won't make it impossible for cheaters to cheat, but atleast it'll ask them for more motivation and work to cheat.-
