Chess Forum - Ratings in CC if game times out?

Player: United  ChessOak Subject: Ratings in CC if game times out?

If a CC game is forfeited due to a timeout, is that game factored in to the players\' ratings? Or is this a clever way that I can avoid taking a ratings hit if I lose my CC games?-

Time out rated. No avoiding rating loss by timing out.-

If there have less than 2 or 3 moves then the game is not counted for rating points but does count as a tournament win or team win if playing in those events.-

I believe the losing player loses rating points, but the winner does not gain points in that situation.-
