Nice News!
I\'m sorry about the performance of the team. I\'m quite having fun here on this site, and in this team.
I\'ll be the happier, if we can improve our ranking.
All the best and Happy New Year.

A.

Your performance was pretty good Y_afu, and the team was constantly in top 10, so there is nothing to be sorry about. But keep in mind that Masterminds was ranked 1st for more than a year continously (from 2011 to 2012 i think), and we stayed in 1st place with a huge difference (with an average elo advantage 100-150 points over the 2nd placed team almost all the time). So with a backround like that, our goal of being the best once again is justified :)-

LayZStyle,

I don\'t mind you posting this here, but if you wish to post things strictly for your own teams viewing, then post your info in the team forums located below your team information.

This forum is listed as our team page (and it is bellow our team info). You do not chose to have your forum on the main page, it simply goes on top of that list any time someone makes a comment.-

Lol, then why did you mention it in the first place?-

8United  cc1422628580ChessHere Moderator2014-01-07 18:14:38
Don (Arrakis09) and I had originally planned to have the teams section only for team advertisement (Recruiting players to join your team) and team questions. Times have changed and I am allowing all team posts in the main forum. I just wanted to make it clear that I am allowing all posts for teams so that someone doesn\'t come along and say \"you can\'t post this here\" etc.-

Excuse me! I don\'t understand :(
You wrote new ORIGINAL captain AndreyGM will work with our team. But:
1) Why original? He is member since 2013-12-23
2) He proposed to develop our team\'s strehgth
3) He reconstructed our team with the theses \"We can make it to number ONE this year\", \"Our goal is to reach our optimal structure by the end of January\"
4) ... and now he quit the time with 4 resign in the opening!
What means it?
Thank you to supply explanations.

AndreyGM is the original captain and founder of team Masterminds. He\'s the original owner of the LayZ Style account that I\'ve been using and he\'s back (or not) to manage this team again. He\'s on vacation at the moment so I guess that the responsibility for this team falls on me again. If you have any ideas on how we can improve this team, don\'t hesitate to post it here at this team forum. I\'m willing to listen and open for any suggestions.

I want to take this opportunity to thank each one of you for your hard work and for making this team a force to reckon with at this site. God bless. :) Larry

Captain LazY Style,

Thank you for giving me the chance to be a member of a great chess team \"Masterminds\" and for challenging chess games.. I love to be in the team but I guess its better that way and I respect your decision.. Will work hard on my remaining team games, so far its 2.5/3 two more to go.. Goodluck to you and to the rest of the team and God bless us all..:)

Larry likes to give team members the games they need. -

That\'s true dsuttles. I believe that it\'s easier to learn chess by playing many games and undergo painful losses especially if one doesn\'t have the time to study chess books. Besides, it can be considered as a practice ground to put what you\'ve learned from the books into practical application. You might be caught in the same tactics/traps once, twice or maybe thrice but you will not be caught in the same tactics/traps forever. My only request to team members playing their team games to please try not to commit any time-outs! I believe that it\'s better to lose a game fighting than to hand over the win on a silver platter by time-outs. Let\'s do our best guys!!! :) Larry-

He\'s a puzzle for anyone who\'s interested. White to move. It\'s a complete win for white in a few moves. For anyone who can\'t see it, I\'ll give a clue on my next post. Hope I\'m doing this right. First time to use the PGN Generator. Enjoy.-

Sorry about that. I\'m having some difficulty posting the diagram. Will try to post it at this forum soon.-

16United  cc1422628580ChessHere Moderator2014-02-15 15:45:24
Once you type the PGN into the box, don\'t forget to click \"submit your PGN\", or else it won\'t work. The system has to analyze the PGN given so that it may present you a board which you can view before you post the reply.

Hope this helps.
