ChessHere Golden Realtime Chess Championship

In the spirit of friendly but yet challenging competition, ChessHere.com invites all its premium member to take part in the Golden RTC Championship. At the end of which the winner will be given a new Lenovo X61 IBM laptop.

Condition of Entry:

To take part in this event a player must be:

• A premium Account Holder at the time of entering the Qualifying Heat
• A premium Account Holder at the time of entering the final stage of the event.

Format of the Golden RTC Championship:


    Preliminary Event - Qualifying Heats (QH):


One Qualifying heat will be run weekly, producing one winner . This winner will then qualify to take part in the final event.

QH format: Single Knock Out
Time control of QH: : 5 minute per players
Rating: Rated
Number Max. Of players: 16 players (first arrived first served basis)

A schedule of the QH dates and time will be published on ChessHere.com.

The winner of a QH CANNOT take part in any other QH.

32 weekly QH will be held on ChessHere.com producing 32 players for the Final Event.

Beware!!

Registration for the QH will take place in the RTC page, registration will open at the scheduled time and close 15 minutes after that. Any players not registered within that time frame will not be able to take part. And will have to make arrangement for the next QH.


    Final event:

The Final of the Golden RTC Championship, will take place a week after the final Qualifying Heat.

Condition of entry:

To enter the final event all players must be :

• A winner of a Qualifying Heat!
• A Premium Account Holder

Format of the Final Event: Rated Single Knock Out

Time control: 5 minute per players,
Number Of players: 32 (qualifying heats winners)

In case of a draw, a new game will be created between the two players until an outright winner is produced.

Rules of conduct:

The use of chess software is not allowed and if detected, will result in the disqualification of the player

Accusing any players of cheating via the chatroom or forum may result in the disqualification of the player.
To report suspicion of cheating send email plus evidence to contact@chesshere.com

Disconnection : We do conceide that sometimes internet connections from players are not the best therefore if a players disconnect twice, he will be granted 90 seconds to return to the game. But the third disconnection will result in the loss of the game and therefore disqualification from the tournament

Each QH winner will be published at Homepage and Championship page as the weekly winner!
Chesshere.com reserves the right to invite players of its choosing if will be missing players on final event.
