My enjoyment of the game and great levels of play on this site
I thoroughly enjoy the skill variety of opponents and the great level of play shown by so many of the users of this site. I am particularly impressed with the level of play of the youngsters. I had two interesting games with eight year olds who showed significant capacity at two minute speed games. As a player with a rating of 1961, I enjoy playing people at all skill levels and the enthusiam shown for the game. As a player of the game for 50 years now, I have never lost the urge to play chess and this site allows me to continue my interest with people from all over the world. I wish others enjoy the game as much as I do.

Always loved playing Chess, just could never find anyone to play with (in person). This site has opened a door for many who find themselves in similar circumstances. Despite the minor problems we all experience from time to time here, the opportunities this site brings fellow chessplayers is tremendous. I love it. J Henry "Hen Eggs"

In Chess, your opponent (the dark side) will occasionally tempt you with small pawns and trivial positions on the board. These small offers will act as baits to draw you into vulnerable positions and to expose your weaknesses. Do not fall for these - they have the potential to ruin the game for you. Always be focussed on your long term objectives and resist the distractions of these momentary temptations.

I am a beginner. I mean, I'm still trying to understand chess to be aware of what I'm doing (openings, middlegame, endgame). Playing chess online is giving me the opportunity to teach me a lot about this game first of all trying to understand my own mistakes. For the entire games well ... I have to study a little more ;)
