What do you thik about that chess opening

I usually played black 1e4,e5; 2Nf3,Nf6;3 Bc4,Bc5 4.0-0,Nf6 5Nc3,0-0 etc

But once had an idea: 1.e4,e5 2.Nf3,Nc6 3.Bc4,f5!!!

If 4.exf5...e4!!! 5.Ng1(the single chance to save the Knight) and black has a good advantage and will get the pawn later.

Now something stops the black attack(just for a move)

If 5...d5?? 6.Qh5+,g6? 7.fxg6,Ng6???(i was playing like that once) 8. g7+!!!,Nxh5 9.g7xh8=Q and I was lost

But the way I had to play was 5… Nf6! A move which would appear to be defensive but it’s potentially offensive later and the black has an advantage.

6 d3(best for white) ...d5! 7 Bb5 (or Bb3)...Bxf5 and black has a strong attack and good position.

What do you thik about that opening?

I liked the ideea of the Jaenish defence to sacrifice the pawn in Ruy Lopez 3...f5   (instead of a6 or d6)

But i don't like that  in Ruy Lopez white can take the knight and has good attack.

Hello Mihai, interesting considerations, however instead of 4.exf5 white might have played d4. And if I were white, I would not like 5.Ng1. I would more likely have played 5. Nd4 followed by Nxd4 6. Qh5+ ! g6 7. fxg6! with a reasonably offensive position for white

Its called the Rousseau Gambit, best for White is 4 d4, however this is very complicated. White can get an edge with 4 d3. Check out http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1292862 to see how Paul Morphy handled it.

Well i didn't know it dose exist because while playing on fritz and other programs it sholut tell me the opening as Rosseau Gambit but it just said"unusual black 3rd moves" Anthoninho yes it's a good ideea but i think now that white should move d3 instead of taking the pawn What do you think?Than if Nc6 Bg5 and it will be a balanced game.

Antoninho, I analysed your opinion and black has an advantage: After 7 fxg6 hxg6(?) 8 Qxh8 Nc6(!?) 9 0-0 d4 and the Bishop is hard to save Anyway black can have another winning move:Nxc2+ and has got the rook and remains with a Knight forward. Well I think that the best move is 4 d3(or d4)

Dear mihaibujanca, try 8. Qxg6+ Ke7 9. Qf7+ Kd6 10. Qd5+ ... and I don't think you would want to be in Black's pair of shoes...

Well,I give up Antoninho you're right, if white playes like that, the match is his...I have to find something... Anyway, the main idea of sacrificing the pawn at f5 looks very well... Black has many traps and a many of the games continued interesting from it...
