Hi all,

Don and I are working on organizing the team forums so that only recruiting and other team questions fall in the main team forum section.

We would like everyone to move their team forum to the team forums which are located under your team page. (Go to Correspondence Chess, My Chess Team, and search below your teams\' information)

I will be posting this message into team forums:

Hi, we will be removing team forums from the main team forum section so that it will be more organized. Please move your team thread to the team forums under your team page information. Thanks.

I suggested that the captains be able to create a topic called <team name> Ideas.
It is not the same as the captains using this space for their team forums, which we do not want them to do.

But I see no problem with a captain creating a thread with their team ideas where other people can post their ideas too.

Also, I would like to mention that dead threads over 3 years old are being deleted.
There is no reason to keep obsolete threads in our chess forums. It makes the good stuff harder to find.

Some captains have posted that their members never use the team forums and have asked for suggestions.

Note that I deleted the post by angelfish which had nothing to do with the topic.
If you are going to post a message make sure that it directly related to the topic. In most cases this means No poems, no wisecracks... just information.
Regarding the issue at hand:
How do I get the team members to post in my team forums?

All captains need to start using the Team Captain Forum which was expecially made only for team captains! The information you need is posted there.
