They have hired a programmer and he is re-writing the code for Chesshere.
You can submit bugs to them, or if you are having problems you can submit them to myself and I will work with you to fix the problem if it is on your side.

We have fixed a number of issues and are working daily to get through the rest. So far, we have fixed the site down issues, it has not been down in weeks now! We have upgraded the website to https, so it's now secure for you! We have worked last on getting the New Version to be functional. Please test it today and let us know!!
Next is getting RealTime play up and running, then getting tournaments going again!
Thanks so much for your patience! We really appreciate the players who have taken the time to send us their specific issues via the contact form.. that's the way to get things done :)

UPDATE ON REALTIME PLAY: While we had it working, we realized it would be a much better playing experience on a bigger server, so we are migrating that now. We'll announce when it's completed!! Until then Correpondence play is working for all versions. Thanks so much!!-

They have it working good now! :)
All we need is for a bunch of people to go to the Real Time Chess so that there are a number of players to challenge.

Still no players - ??

Is there supposed to be a "new version" button for RTC?

Are the "online players" actually there?

Still playing a couple of games in CC, however it takes forever as undersood. No games in RTC.

There is no 'new button'. Just go into the site and do this set your parameters at the right side of the screen and then click on 'Invite". ALSO please do the following below so that everyone can challenge there friends to show up at a specific time:

We would like to help you text your friends to play in a RealTime game. Here is what everyone can do: Go to the RT game area and read Chesshere's REAL WORLD TIME at the top of the screen (copy it down). Then go to your personal settings and in the box ABOUT YOU and write down the difference between your world time and Chesshere's web site. For example abbyknot added in his box for everyone to see: My worldwide time is -5 hours behind this website. Be sure to scroll to the bottom and click on your password - your password will automatically enter then click on Update Data. That will allow everyone from different Time Zones to know what time to agree to meet.

Michigan changed it's Time Zone because the state went to "Day Light Saving Time".
Yeah, it;s something that a politician came up with years ago. The 'idea' was to change the state's Time Zone to take advantage of the earth's tilt and be awake to see more sunlight every day.

So, my Time Zone is now 4 hours less than Chesshere's Time Zone.
