Frederik Ingemann Svane (born January 21, 2004) is a German chess grandmaster representing the German Chess Federation (GER). He achieved his peak classical FIDE rating of 2671 in May 2025. Recognized as one of Germany's most prominent young talents, Svane has established a highly successful competitive identity as an elite tournament player, an individual gold medalist at the Chess Olympiad, and a formidable grandmaster on the international stage.

Born in Lübeck, Germany to Danish parents, Frederik Svane grew up in a musical and chess-oriented family. His father, Troels Svane, is a professional cellist, and his older brother, Rasmus Svane, is also an established chess grandmaster.
