Raja Rithvik R (born May 4, 2004) is an Indian chess Grandmaster (GM) representing the Indian Chess Federation (IND). He earned his Candidate Master (CM) title in 2014, FIDE Master (FM) in 2017, International Master (IM) in 2018, and completed all requirements for the Grandmaster title in late 2021, which was officially ratified by FIDE in 2022. Raja Rithvik achieved his career-high classical FIDE rating of 2557 in June 2025. Primarily active as a professional tournament player, he is a prominent member of India's younger generation of grandmasters, exhibiting strong performances in classical open events as well as rapid and blitz competitions.

Born in Hyderabad and raised in Warangal, Raja Rithvik R began playing chess at an early age, rising rapidly through the youth ranks in India. In 2018, he secured five Gold Medals (two individual and three team) at the Asian Youth Chess Championship in Chiangmai, Thailand. He earned his International Master title in 2018 after meeting the 2400 rating threshold. In 2019, he won the National Under-15 Chess Championship in Erode, India.
