Václav Finěk (born January 16, 2010) is a Czech chess player and prodigy representing the Czech Republic (CZE). He holds the FIDE title of International Master (IM), awarded in 2023. Finěk achieved a career-high classical FIDE rating of 2573 in May 2026. Renowned as one of Europe’s leading teenage chess talents, his competitive identity is defined as an exceptionally strong individual tournament competitor and team player, boasting grandmaster-level performances across national and international events.
