Overview

Szymon Gumularz (born December 22, 2001, in Myślenice, Poland) is a Polish chess grandmaster who currently represents the Polish Chess Federation (POL). He earned his FIDE Master (FM) title in 2017, followed by the International Master (IM) title in 2018, and achieved the Grandmaster (GM) title in 2021. In May 2026, he reached his career-high FIDE classical rating of 2613, establishing himself as one of Poland's top players. Szymon Gumularz made his early competitive mark in the Polish junior circuit, winning the Polish Youth Championship under-12 category in Wałbrzych (2013) and the under-16 category in Ustroń (2017).
